Don't know how to spice up the summer? We have a good tip! Pécs will be the hottest spot for street art and urban art lovers this summer! Between May 30 and September 22, you can get an insight into the best of street art while walking around the city.
We can't expect any kind of event, as in the Zsolnay quarter, m21 Gallery and other city locations we can admire the works of famous artists such as Nuno from Portugal, Millo from Italy, Julien Casabianca from France, Christian Boehmer and Adultremix from Germany, as well as Erell, Jana & JS, NDZW , Lost Optic or Zeus Salas, one of the creators of Yasha Young Projects. The Société Réaliste artist collective also deserves special attention, as they create captivating works by collecting and reinterpreting the signs of the social public.
The Hungarian street art scene is not left behind: Fork Imre, Fat Heat, Fsing, Gospe, MNU, Napush, Shit Shot and Void represent the Hungarian line. They all add their own inimitable style to the exhibition and make this event truly special. The artistic diversity, the excitement of creative activism developing from the underground movement, and the relaxed, light atmosphere of the hip-hop environment are guaranteed to get you out of the grind of everyday life. And there will be icing on that particular cake: in addition to the paintings, the event will be given a special flavor by skateboard demonstrations, professional workshops, various performances and guided tours, as well as musical accompaniment. This is the cultural cocktail, straight from the street!
