Less than a decade after opening, the store moved to the most popular shopping street, to a more spacious building, and in 1918, under the leadership of the famous architect and expert Teeuwisse, a real wallpaper palace was built in another part of the city for Eijffinger's exceptional products, paying tribute to their magnificence - and of course, considering the wide range. A few years before the outbreak of World War II, the company closed its stores, specializing only in wholesale trade. Imports became impossible during the bitter period of the Great War, and only after the conclusion of peace did the import of products begin again - initially limited to plain white, patternless models. Later, during the boom, fantastic colors and motifs gained ground again - in addition to wallpapers, they also appeared on curtain materials. Since 1995, Eijffinger's own designs have adorned the rolls - conquering the markets of many countries. Following its 125th birthday, the brand has come up with a new logo, its trend-setting collections are continuously successful, and its well-functioning webshop serves its customers impeccably, to their greatest delight.
