BoConcept recently launched the Sweet Art capsule collection, conceived by Danish designer Charlotte Høncke. It is the first designer piece curated by the brand’s new Global Artistic Director, Helena Christensen. BoConcept is giving space to fresh voices in Danish design, with Christensen acting as a supporter and facilitator for creatives.
Charlotte Høncke and Helena Christensen represent a new female design line for the brand, which is increasingly opening up to softer shapes and more feminine shades to appeal to a wider audience. The Sweet Art collection is sensual, sculptural and playful, and is inspired by the world of Danish pastry shops. The designer draws inspiration from organic shapes, delicate pastels and nostalgic feelings associated with sweets.
The feminine swivel chair – the embodiment of perfect me-time
The most special piece of the collection is the feminine armchair with a rotating function, which evokes the world of pastries with its wavy lines, meticulously crafted details and soft, spongy feel. It is not just a comfortable seating option, but a true work of art, the perfect expression of calm moments, intimacy and the Danish hygge feeling.
BoConcept has recently been focusing more and more on characterful pieces that can also stand alone as a style element in an interior. This piece from the Sweet Art collection follows the success of the Bolzano armchair, introduced in spring 2023, which quickly became a bestseller.
A color palette reminiscent of the world of pastry shops
The collection’s color palette is inspired by the delicacies of pastry shops. Creamy white evokes sophistication, rich cherry deep tones evoke elegance, and soft pink evokes feminine softness. These shades are light, homey, and stylish all at once, just like a perfect dessert.

The Sweet Art capsule collection includes a feminine swivel armchair and two poufs, which are also available in a delicate rose shade called Blossom for a limited time. The series also includes a small number of exclusive, high-gloss Black Cherry side tables, which will not be sold commercially – they will be raffled off exclusively among BoConcept newsletter subscribers.
The collection also includes a carefully selected decorative series that perfectly harmonizes with the furniture pieces. Elegantly curved candlesticks, a graceful vase, a sophisticated bowl and a soft rug complete the overall effect.
